Collection and Processing of Personal Data

Personal data are processed within the scope of the following functions of this website:

Login Area PCI DSS Platform

On our website, you can log into a protected login area using your username under the merchant profile assigned to you by the responsible body. The data in your profile will be processed to validate PCI compliance (purpose of processing). The following information can be stored in or retrieved from such a profile:

  • - New password
  • - Name and contact information of the merchant and, if applicable, other contact persons
  • - Merchant master data
  • - Documents required to validate PCI compliance and documents regarding merchant communication
  • - Cumulated information on completed transactions (anonymised)
  • - Technical terminal information

Based on your profile, required statistical evaluations are performed and transmitted to the card organisations by the responsible body.

Your profiles are based on the information you provide as well as on information provided by the 1CS IT systems. An automated profiling by us based on your behaviour or other information does not take place outside the statistical evaluations on PCI compliance. Your respective profile is protected by a password and only accessible to third parties if you arrange for the transfer yourself.

Validation of PCI compliance is required to meet the service agreements concluded for card acceptance. The processing of your personal data is therefore legitimate according to Art. 6 Para. 1 b) GDPR. You can change individual pieces of master data in your profile at any time. On request, you can have individual pieces of data deleted or corrected by the responsible body. If the contractual relationship is terminated, the profile is deactivated and automatically deleted after two years.


Any processing of your personal data beyond the scope of this privacy notice will only take place if you have given us your consent. You can give such express consent via our website. Within the scope of the consent, you will be provided with further information about the processing of your data.


Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small data files that are stored on your computer's hard drive via your browser. They are used to customise your visit or a later visit to our website, rendering your visits more convenient.
